The Spelling Bee

Hi People! I want to tell you about the Spelling Bee. I’m getting really nervous! The date of the spelling Bee seems so far away, yet so close. Its so scary!!! Let me tell you people a story. In fourth grade I made it into the Spelling Bee. I was so excited! Finally, the day of the Spelling Bee came around, and the next thing I knew, I was up on stage. You couldn’t imagine how tense and horrifying the air was up there. Everyone staring at me, expecting me to do well. The bright lights shining in my face, making the audience just shadows in there seats. The echo of my voice from the microphone was so annoying! I made it to the second round when they gave me the word scramble. I felt sooooo stupid! I messed up that easy word! I spelled it with two ms instead of one.  - - - Now I’m in the sixth grade and I’m in the Spelling Bee again. Except, this time I feel much more confident in my self. I think (I hope) I’ll do good in this Spelling Bee. I’ve already studied a lot. ~Wish me luck!
